Community invited to Winona Health Foundation Tree of Lights Ceremonies to remember loved ones

Community members who wish to gather with others to remember and honor a loved one are invited to the Winona Health Foundation Tree Lighting Ceremonies in Winona Tuesday, December 6 and in Lewiston Sunday, December 11.

“We hold our Tree Lighting Ceremonies to provide a special time and place to remember and honor the memory of those we’ve lost but will never forget,” said Nancy Brown, Winona Health Foundation executive director of development.

The ceremonies include a brief program followed by refreshments and music.

Winona Health Foundation Tree of Lights Lighting Ceremony – Winona

Tuesday, December 6, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Lobby of Winona Clinic, 859 Mankato Avenue.

Dr. Tim Thompson will be lighting the tree this year in memory of his wife, Schelly Thompson. After a short program, Wellspring Singers will entertain with holiday music and refreshments will be served.

Winona Health Foundation Tree of Lights Lighting Ceremony – Lewiston

Sunday, December 11, 4 – 5 p.m.

Lewiston Community Center, 75 Rice Street

The family of Lorraine Tweten will be lighting the tree this year in Lewiston. After a short program, Sue Degallier, Winona Health volunteer, will entertain with holiday music and refreshments will be served.
