Winona Health recently added two more healthcare providers to its Urgent Care staff. Sally Pollock, CNP, and Nawang Sherpa, CNP, will see patients of all ages at the Urgent Care Clinic at 420 E. Sarnia Street in Winona.
Sally Pollock, certified nurse practitioner (CNP), received her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Prior to becoming a certified nurse practitioner, Pollock cared for patients in the Intensive Care Unit/Coronary Care Unit at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse and in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and Labor and Delivery Unit at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Pollock is a member of the American Critical Care Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Nawang Sherpa, certified nurse practitioner (CNP), received his Master of Science-Family Nurse Practitioner, from Winona State University-Rochester and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winona State University.
Sherpa’s professional experience includes caring for patients in the Transitional Care Unit at St. Anne’s Extended Healthcare in Winona and at the Golden Living Center in St. Charles, Minn. He is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
Winona Health’s Urgent Care Clinic is open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check current Urgent Care wait times here.
