Winona Health hospital has been named on the nation’s Most Wired-Small and Rural Hospital list, according to the results of the 2009 Most Wired Survey and Benchmarking Study released today in the July issue of Hospitals & Health Networks magazine. This is the eighth consecutive year Winona Health hospital has been recognized as a Most Wired hospital. Premier Quality Award: 2006
Winona Health's Hospital has been awarded the Premier Award for Quality for its care of Acute Myocardial Infarction (heart attack) patients, "and its unwavering dedication to measuring and improving quality of care" in the Winona community while using resources efficiently.

Letter of Commendation from the
Department of Employee Relations and the Governor's Health Cabinet
Winona Health was recently recognized and commended by the Department of Employee Relations and the Governor's Health Cabinet. The letter commends and acknowledges Winona Health's "implementation of Health Information Technology (HIT) and development of the electronic medical record."

Most Innovative Acute Care Hospitals: 2007
Winona Health has been honored as one of the most innovative acute care hospitals in the country. Winona Health won the award for its EMR system which offers "broad access to critical records, ranging from clinical information such as doctors' notes and radiology images to financial data."
