The Winona Health Foundation is seeking nominations for the Ben & Adith Miller Community Service Tribute. Nominations will be accepted through February 22.
Originally established by the late community philanthropist, Benjamin A. Miller in the name of his wife, Adith, the Ben & Adith Miller Community Service Tribute recognizes an individual, group or organization for exceptional service to the greater Winona community.
Candidates are considered based upon four criteria:
1. How the candidate has enhanced the quality of life in our community
2. What the candidate has done for the economic betterment of our community
3. What leadership roles the candidate has taken in various capacities
4. How the candidate has given direct service to the community
Nancy Iglesias, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity-Winona County, received the 2008 Ben & Adith Miller Community Service Tribute.
In addition to a special recognition dinner at Cedar Valley Restaurant in March, the family of Ben & Adith Miller and RTP Company honors the recipient with a $25,000 contribution to the Ben & Adith Miller Patient Care Fund to assist area individuals and families.
Written nominations are being accepted now through February 22. Nomination forms are available online at winonahealth.org/tribute or by contacting Kris Walters at 507.474.3328 or mailto:kwalters@winonahealth.org.
