The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a health care professional who provides specified services in the Behavioral Medicine Department under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN is active in the nursing process and collaborates with the RN to deliver quality and safe patient care.
Essential Skills: 2- or 4-year nursing degree. CPR Certification. LPN License - MN. Basic computer skills. Patient information database (Cerner, EMR, American Data).
Nonessential Skills: Minimum of one year experience as an LPN in an outpatient or inpatient setting is desired.
