Clinic Pharmacy Technician

Position Overview: Functions as a technician under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Responsible for knowing routine prescription dispensing procedures and following the laws pertaining to prescription dispensing, including computer entry/deciphering, insurance billing, medication and supply ordering, register procedures and good customer relation skills. Must be able to multi-task and perform repetitive tasks accurately.

Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience: High school/GED/equivalent.

Required Qualifications/Certificates/Licensure: Certified pharmacy technician, licensed practical nurse or other medical training. State of Minnesota Registration required.

Preferred Qualifications/Certificates/Licensure:Some background in mathematics, biology and chemistry desirable. Prior experience desirable.
