Health Talks

Health Talks provide you with educational information on a variety of health topics and are presented by our healthcare providers at different times throughout the year. These programs are held in the BA Miller Auditorium and generally last an hour. Previous topics include:  child psychology and mental health, concussions, diabetes and heart disease, internet crimes, pain management and urinary incontinence.

Changing Community Norms
Thursday, March 26, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Attendees will learn how beliefs, attitudes and knowledge shape how a community allows violence to exist within its midst. Information will be provided about what’s happening locally and how individuals can take action to stop violence.

Program presenters will be Helen Bagshaw, CCRN, a Winona Health Intensive Care Unit nurse, and Susan Roehrich, a member  of the Winona County Task Force for Primary Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence.
