Winona Health’s Preparing for Childbirth classes offer information and insights that will help you prepare for the birth of your baby. During this class, you and your birth partner will learn about the dynamics of labor, explore pain relief tools such as breathing, hydrotherapy, and medical options for pain management. You will practice decision-making skills that help during labor, tour the Family Birth Center and get to know other expectant parents. All classes are taught by our staff of Certified Childbirth Educators.
The cost for all Preparing for Childbirth classes is $78; however, most insurance providers cover the cost of the classes because it is prenatal care. Please print the Insurance Form, complete it and bring it with you to the first night of class. We will process this for payment with your insurance company.

Weekend class options meet Friday 6-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
