Weekly Support Groups
All About Baby, Post-Partum Support Group
Time: Tuesdays, 12 – 1:30 p.m.
Location: Winona Health Center for Women’s Health, 859 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN
Information: Weekly drop-in group for parents to weigh their baby, get answers to questions and meet other parents. New parents and expecting parents are welcome. Meeting facilitators are Winona Health’s Robyn Hinz, RN, IBCLC and Jenni McHugh, Baby Connections facilitator and certified parent educator. 507.457.7701.
Monthly Support Groups
Chronic Pain Support Group
Time: First Tuesday of each month, 6 – 7 p.m.
Location: Winona Health Lake Winona Manor Classroom, 865 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN

Family to Family Support Group
Time: Second Monday of each month, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Location: Winona Health Parkview Conference Room – 855 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN
Information: Do you have a loved one living with a mental illness? If so, this support group provides a place for you that offers information, respect, encouragement, understanding and hope. Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias Support Group and Education
Time: Second Wednesday of each month, 6 – 7 p.m.
Location: Winona Health Parkview Conference Room, 855 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN

Little Ones Remembered Outreach Group
Time: Third Tuesday of each month, 6:30 – 8 p.m.
Location: Winona Health Senior Living at Watkins, Great Hall, 175 East Wabasha Street, Winona, MN
Information: Winona Health nurses welcome you to Little Ones Remembered, a monthly informal gathering developed to create memories and offer support to families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. For questions call Renee Isakson, RN or Jennifer Burmeister, RN at 507.474.3042.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Support Group
Time: Third Wednesday of each month, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Location: Winona Health Lake Winona Manor Classroom, 865 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN
Information: Winona Health Respiratory Therapist, Bob Elam, RT, will facilitate a monthly support group for those dealing with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Those who have questions may contact Bob Elam at relam@winonahealth.org or 507.452.7940.
Quarterly Support Groups
Stroke Therapy Support Group
Time: Once a quarter on the second Wednesday of the month from 6 – 7 p.m. (every January, April, July and October)
Location: Winona Health Sarnia Square, 420 East Sarnia Street, Winona, MN
Information: Winona Health Speech Language Pathologist, Carol Meyer-Boldon, CCC, SLP will facilitate a quarterly support group for those who have had a stroke or those that care for a person who has had a stroke. Parkinson’s Support Group
Time: Once a quarter on the second Thursday of the month from 6 – 7 p.m. (every March, June, September and December)
Location: Winona Health Parkview Conference Room – 855 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN
Information: Winona Health physical therapist, Stephen Seltz, PT, will facilitate a quarterly support group for those dealing with Parkinson’s disease. For more information or to ask questions call, Stephen Seltz 507.453.3765.
Short-term Support Groups
Grief Support Group: six-week program
Time: 4:30 – 6 p.m.
Location: Winona Health Senior Living at Watkins, 175 East Wabasha Street, Winona, MN
Information: Winona Health Hospice Chaplain, Tom Schoen, BCC, facilitates a six-week, Grief Support Group periodically throughout the year. The Grief Support Group is free, but registration is required. Those who have questions or would like to know when the next support group will be held should call Chaplain Tom Schoen at 507.429.0485.
