Jr Volunteer Program

The Winona Health Junior Volunteer program is designed for students in grades 5th through 9th. It is a great opportunity to learn about healthcare, earn volunteer hours for school or church, make a difference in your community, gain experience for your resume while having fun.

This year two separate sections are being offered to select from. Junior Volunteer sessions are held on Tuesday afternoons from 2:45-4:00pm OR on Thursday afternoons from 3:45-4:00pm. The program runs throughout the school year. Participation each week is flexible so you may volunteer the weeks that work best for you.

Volunteering will take place at Lake Winona Manor. (On the Winona Health campus, next to the hospital at 855 Mankato Ave.) There will be lots of different activities including helping to make the lives of our residents in our nursing home a little brighter by visiting with them, doing activities together, reading to them, making crafts, playing games and much, much more.

To enroll in the program, print and complete the registration form and return it to Winona Health. Once it is received, we will contact you with more details about the program.
