Junior Volunteer Program

The Winona Health Junior Volunteer Program is designed for students age 10-18. It is a great opportunity to learn about healthcare, earn volunteer hours for school or church, make a difference in your community, gain experience for your resume while having fun.

There are several different volunteer opportunities available to choose from including spending time with residents in our nursing home or assisted living facilities. Those activities would include helping to make the lives of our residents a little brighter by visiting with them, doing activities together, reading to them, making crafts, playing games and much more. Another opportunity would be working with our Building and Grounds staff doing a variety of duties throughout the Winona Health campus including outdoor activities such as tending to the landscaping and flower gardens.

There are morning or afternoon shifts available 2-3 days per week. To enroll in the program, print and complete the registration form and return it to Winona Health. A parent or guardian’s signature is also required. Once the registration form is received, we will contact you with more details about the program.
