The Dermatology Department specializes in diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, nails and hair, as well as treatment of skin cancers, spider vein therapy, in-office varicose vein stripping, tumescent liposuction services, microdermabrasion, photodynamic therapy and laser hair removal.

- Breast reduction by liposuction preformed in our office under local anesthetic with no scars.
- Microdermabrasion skin smoothing and toning for most body parts.
- Alphahydroxy acid face peels.
- Restylane filler injections (facial and lips) a safer and longer lasting alternative to Botox.
- Photodynamic therapy with the Blue-U light/Levulan Kerastick which is commonly used for acne, solar keratosis, rosacea and other skin problems.

Laser Hair Removal
Results show that 80% of patients lose 90% of unwanted hair. The laser covers a dime size area with each pulse and can treat an area quickly. The laser works best on hairs in the active growth phase. Only some of your hair is in this phase at any one time. It is necessary to repeat the treatment to remove hairs as they enter the growing phase. Different areas of the body have different growth styles, but usually three to six treatments at one to three month intervals will remove most hair.
Liposuction/Liposculpture
For many patients, liposuction has turned into a dream come true. Although it is not intended as a weight loss technique, liposuction can literally remove aesthetically displeasing, localized accumulations of fat and sculpt the body into a slimmer profile. These local areas of fat are often preprogrammed by inheritance and are found to be stubbornly resistant to diet and exercise.
