The Winona Health Pain Management Center staff's goal is to provide relief from temporary and chronic pain to help improve the quality of life for individuals dealing with pain. The Winona Health Pain Management Center staff provides thorough evaluation, individualized treatment plans and interventions including various spine and extremity blocks

The Pain Management Center physicians treat all types of pain including:

Pain management experts use ultrasound and fluoroscopy (x-ray) to target the source of pain and guide treatment. Based on the type, cause and location of pain, a variety of treatments may be incorporated in an individual's treatment plan. Treatment may include:

  • Nerve blocks
  • Radiofrequency therapy
  • Intravenous therapy
  • Bier Block (intravenous regional block)
  • Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation (TENS)
