Katie Halder, CNP

Katie Halder, CNP, joined the Winona Health Family Practice team and will see patients full-time at Rushford Clinic, 109 W. Jessie Street in Rushford, Minn. Katie will see patients as part of a care team with Nicholas Modjeski, MD.

“We are excited to introduce Katie to the Rushford community,” said Marti Bollman, administrator for Winona Health Primary Care Clinics. “We’ve been looking for the right healthcare provider for Rushford for a long time, and I believe community members will receive wonderful care and enjoy working with Katie.”

Halder and her family decided to move from their home in Parkers Prairie, Minn., to join Winona Health and the Rushford community. “My husband and I wanted to move our young family back to southeastern Minnesota to be closer to family. We were excited to find an opportunity with Winona Health in Rushford. We both grew up in a small town and I have practiced in a small town and find it extremely rewarding.”

Prior to joining Winona Health, Halder cared for patients at Sanford Health in Alexandria and Parkers Prairie, Minn. She is experienced in providing all aspects of primary care from well-child checks to helping patients manage chronic health conditions. She also has experience addressing mental health concerns.

Halder is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She received her Master of Science-Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
