A Minnesota Hospital is Improving Access to Mental Health Services

For a patient managing an ongoing health care issue — whether its diabetes, heart disease or depression — taking time away from work or school to visit the doctor can be a burden, as can waiting for a routine change in medication because specialty care is unavailable during the weekend.

Unfortunately, this situation has become common for many patients, especially people dealing with mental health issues.
