Winona Health lead CT technologist, Tim Metz, had a column published the June/July issue of ASRT SCANNER, a publication of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists covering vital news and information for medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals and stories on issues of interest to radiologic technologists.
Tim designed and built a special piece of equipment to solve an imaging challenge. Tim’s solution:
- Prevents possible damage to expensive equipment
- Increases comfort and peace of mind for patients and staff
- Improves standard work and image quality
- Reduces rework
- Saves money
“I like the variety of things I get to do at Winona Health. Some bigger places you’re assigned to the same thing every day. It’s hard to get bored here,” said Tim. “And when we find solutions that use our resources wisely, it’s good for everyone.”
