Program for adult children and their parents – The Gift: Legal Groundwork

Winona Health and area partners present The Gift: Legal Groundwork, Tuesday, July 11, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Watkins Great Hall at 175 E. Wabasha in Winona, Minn.

As with many things, planning ahead eases stress and makes things go more smoothly. This program will provide the information parents and their adult children need to make decisions as they age. Caregivers will learn what legal forms are needed in order to care for a parent, and parents will learn about the necessary forms to share with their caregivers. Understanding the options and legal obligations will help families ensure things are handled the way they choose.

Join our panel of legal experts to get answers to pressing questions. Panelists include: Ashley Martin, a social worker from Winona Health; Tony Schmit, from Pluto Legal, PLLC; and Mark W. Breneman from Breneman Law, PLLC

“The Gift” is a quarterly health talk series covering topics related to various aspects of aging including financial, legal and emotional issues. To receive advance notice about The Gift and other Winona Health events, sign up for Winona Health’s free monthly events enewsletter at:
