Welcome Adam Fletcher, MD!

Adam Fletcher, MD, has joined the Winona Health medical staff and sees people of all ages in the Family Medicine and Sports/Orthopedics departments.

“I chose Winona Health because it provided the perfect opportunity to be a Family Medicine physician with dedicated time for my Sports Medicine interests,” said Dr. Fletcher. “I also love the feel of Winona. The bluffs are beautiful; the terrain is somewhat similar to where I grew up in Virginia. Winona and Winona Health just fit. I am excited to become a part of the community.”

Dr. Fletcher is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, and completed his residency at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minn. He also completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, but I have a special interest in athletes. My background in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine provides a unique opportunity to manage concerns that limit athletes, whether it be asthma, concussion, or overuse injuries,” said Dr. Fletcher.  “My goal is to support everyone in their sport of choice, whether it is competitive soccer or walking around Lake Winona.”

Dr. Fletcher is originally from Williamsburg, Va. He and his wife, who is originally from Bloomington, Minn., are new to Winona. In his free time, Dr. Fletcher enjoys exploring the area with his wife, rock climbing, running, and brewing beer.
