Everyone experiences stress in one form or another, but daily stress can contribute to fatigue and burnout. Learning to effectively manage stress can change a person’s life.
Winona Health’s Take Control of Stress is an eight-week program in which participants will learn about the effects of stress on the body and mind, along with strategies to effectively manage stress and fatigue, and reduce the risk of burnout.
Take Control of Stress discussion topics include:
- Stress and your health
- Mindfulness and resilience
- Reducing barriers
- Fatigue and burnout
The program is led by Laura Reutlinger, a wellness specialist at Winona Health.
There are two program options: Mondays beginning January 7, 5:30-6:30 p.m. and Thursdays beginning January 10, noon – 1 p.m. The programs are held in the Winona Health Wellness department at 855 Mankato Ave., in Winona.
Cost for the eight-week program is $120 and includes six one-hour programs plus two 30-minute private coaching sessions.
