B. A. Miller Classic raises $230,000 for Patient Care Fund

Winona Health is celebrating 125 years of providing community-focused healthcare, and the Winona Health Foundation’s 2019 Ben & Adith Miller Classic raised a record $230,000 for the Ben & Adith Miller Patient Care Fund, a charitable fund for individuals and families who receive healthcare services at Winona Health.

These are just a few of the messages those who benefit from the Patient Care Fund have shared:

“Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity! You have eased one of my burdens during this trying time in my life. With sincere appreciation…”

“Life saver! Was totally stressed on these bills—didn’t know how to pay. Thank you for your loving care and concern.”

“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You have blessed me and my family and we are so grateful. This was a huge lift off our shoulders. After reading the letter, I was very inspired and blessed to see what you are doing. I hope one day I can contribute to this fund. This will never be forgotten.”

“Our community is fortunate to have the Ben & Adith Miller Patient Care Fund to help those in need with their medical expenses,” said Rebecca Lamberty, chief administrative officer at Winona Health. “We’re grateful that so many golfers and volunteers participate in this event and for the generous support of Hugh and Vera Miller, RTP Company and the loyal sponsors who make this event so special.”
