Jenny se uni\u00f3 a la Auxiliar del Hospital General de Winona en 1952 y se mantuvo como voluntaria activa hasta que dej\u00f3 de serlo en 2019. Continu\u00f3 tejiendo gorritos para reci\u00e9n nacidos y disfrutaba viendo a los beb\u00e9s por la ciudad luciendo uno de sus gorritos. Fue presidenta de varios servicios de la Auxiliar (posteriormente Voluntarios de Winona Health) y form\u00f3 parte de la junta directiva de la Auxiliar del Community Memorial Hospital. En 2010, Jenny recibi\u00f3 el Premio al Servicio Comunitario Ben &amp; Adith Miller de la Fundaci\u00f3n de Winona Health. Jenny falleci\u00f3 el 22 de abril de 2021.
