Weekly Support Groups

Time: Tuesdays, 12 – 1:30 p.m.

Location: Winona Health Center for Women’s Health, 859 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN

Information: Weekly drop-in group for parents to weigh their baby, get answers to questions and meet other parents. New parents and expecting parents are welcome. Meeting facilitators are Winona Health’s Robyn Hinz, RN, IBCLC and Jenni McHugh, Baby Connections facilitator and certified parent educator. 507.457.7701.

Monthly Support Groups

When: Second Wednesday of each month, 6 – 7 p.m.

Where: Winona Health Parkview Conference Room, 855 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN (map)

Description: Open Discussion and support in an informal group setting to ask questions, discuss concerns, and to share your experience with others.

Time: Third Wednesday of each month, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Location: Winona Health Lake Winona Manor Classroom, 865 Mankato Avenue, Winona, MN

Information: Winona Health Respiratory Therapist, Bob Elam, RT, will facilitate a monthly support group for those dealing with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Those who have questions may contact Bob Elam at relam@winonahealth.org or 507.452.7940.

Short-Term Support Groups

Dates: 6 week sessions beginning

  • April 4th
  • June 27th
  • September 26th

Time: Tuesdays, 4:30 – 6 p.m.

Location: Senior Living at Watkins, Manor Lounge, East Wabasha Street, Winona, MN

Information: Weekly support groups that meet for 6-week cycles for those who are grieving. A small group setting providing opportunity for individuals to discuss together, identify with others, and normalize their own grief experience learning strategies which will help them in their grief journey.  Contact Sheila Skeels for more information at 507.457.4549.
