Well Child Visits

Routine well-child visits help your child develop a positive relationship with healthcare providers and learn about the importance of healthy habits.

If the only time your children goes to the clinic is for immunizations, they’re more likely to have a fear of healthcare settings and providers. Through regular well-child visits, your healthcare providers will help promote a healthy lifestyle. These well-child visits also are an opportunity for you to ask questions about your child’s potential physical, behavioral and developmental issues.

Healthcare providers can help reinforce the messages you convey to your children about being active and eating the right foods to help them stay healthy. He or she also will provide you with tips and ideas to help you deal with common issues that most parents face at various developmental stages.
