Winona Health offers comprehensive inpatient medical and surgical services.
Medical/Surgical/Pediatric Department
The Medical/Surgical/Pediatric Department is centrally located on the hospital’s second floor. Individual patient care needs are met through a multi-disciplinary approach that includes your doctor, social services, nursing, therapy, dietary and a pharmacist.
Swing Bed
Winona Health’s swing bed program provides needed care to patients no longer requiring acute hospital care, but need a less intensive level of skilled nursing care or rehabilitative therapy.
Intensive Care Unit
The eight-bed ICU provides for patients who experience more complex medical needs requiring intensive nursing interventions and monitoring. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac monitoring capabilities.
We Promote a Quiet Healing Environment
People who are hospitalized need restful quiet to promote healing. With appropriate time for rest, family involvement may enhance the recovery process. Visiting hours are dependent upon each patient’s specific wishes and needs. Please check with someone on the nursing team if you have questions about visiting a patient, as his/her care is our number one priority.
Visitors are asked to refrain from visiting the medical floors without special consideration of Winona Health’s Guidelines for Visitors.
