Winona Health’s Healthy Kids Club events are designed to engage, educate and promote a healthy lifestyle. By collaborating with local organizations to offer a year’s worth of activities for children and resources for families, the program is designed to create numerous opportunities to reinforce healthy living choices so they become a natural part of participants’ daily lives.

Winona, Goodview, Stockton, Rushford, Fountain City, Cochrane, Lewiston, Rollingstone and Minnesota City.
Demonstrated community need:
Growing rates of obesity in young children due to inactivity and poor food choices.
How need is determined:
Focus groups and discussions with area school nurses, educators and parents, confirmed by review of community and national health statistics.
