Outpatient Services
Winona Health Psychiatric & Counseling Services offers a comprehensive array of outpatient services:
- Mental health assessments
- Psychiatric medication management
- Addiction medicine (Meet Dr. Kerr!)
- Intensive outpatient program
- Individual therapy and treatment for children, adolescents and adults related to issues and conditions such as:
- anxiety
- depression
- grief and loss
- LGBTQ+ affirming care
- life transitions
- mood instability
- self-esteem
- stress management
- substance use/addiction
- trauma therapy/EMDR
The Winona Health Psychiatric and Counseling staff includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists and support staff.
Expanded Counseling Services at School
Beginning in fall 2026, Winona Health will offer a fifth School-Based Health Clinic location serving students at Cotter Schools. Winona Health School-Based Health Clinics provide students with convenient, high-quality healthcare and mental health care right at school, with current locations at Jefferson Elementary School, Winona Senior High School, Winona Middle School, and Winona Area Learning Center. These locations offer the same mental health services that are available in our Psychiatric and Counseling Services department at Winona Health.
