Community invited to Winona Home Medical open house Monday, April 29

The staff at Winona Home Medical, Winona Health’s home medical and supplies store, will host an open house Monday, April 29 from 2 until 6 p.m. at 930 Parks Ave., in Winona. The home medical and supplies store is adjacent to the Winona Health main campus, near the intersection of Mankato Ave. and US Highway 61. The open house is an opportunity to sign up for door prizes, enjoy refreshments, meet the staff and learn more about home medical equipment and supplies available locally. Bill Cota, director of retail services at Winona Health, said, “We want to make sure community members have convenient access to high quality home medical supplies to help them do what they want to do, while living safely and independently in their own homes.” Equipment and supplies available at Winona Home Medical include:

• Basic mobility aides such as walkers and canes
• Bath and safety aides
• Breast pumps
• Respiratory equipment and supplies including:
  • Nebulizers
  • CPAP – BiPap machines
  • Masks
  • Tubing
• Seasonal Affective Disorder lights
• Compression wear
• Physical therapy products
• Other home healthcare basic needs

In addition to answering questions and helping people select appropriate equipment and supplies, Winona Home Medical’s staff helps customers navigate insurance coverage and coordinate billing processes.
