Having my first child at Winona Health was much more intimate and comfortable

I had the privilege of having my first child here at Winona Health. After having my second some place else, I can say without a doubt that I 100% recommend Winona Health to anyone in the area. I came in at about 2:30 am, ready to deliver. The staff was calm, reassuring and sensitive to our needs. I was able to start pushing as soon as my midwife came and she too was calm, comforting and made our natural birth a beautiful and private experience with exactly enough staff to help us deliver by 3:31 am. By comparison, I felt as though my second child’s birth at a different organization was overstaffed and lacking in support and encouragement. It was so much more intimate and comfortable at Winona Health.
