“This place was the answer to my prayers,” says Lynn, daughter of Mary Lou, an Adith Miller Manor resident. It was definitely an adjustment for mom, but now I know this is where she needs to be, and she’s very happy here.” Lynn says her mom has always had a fun sense of humor, and she definitely hasn’t lost that. She enjoys the staff and has developed relationships with them and the other residents. “She loved the ride around town and through our old neighborhood! When she told me about it, I could hear it in her voice. And look at this beautiful place! I grew up in Winona, but I didn’t get to live on the lake,” laughs Lynn, who shares her mom’s sense of humor. Lynn says she feels like, “the stars aligned” when her mom found her new home at Adith Miller Manor. “I can sleep at night knowing mom is happy and well taken care of.”
