Dear Staff, I wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how much my family appreciates the care and compassion you’ve shown us during my mother’s transition to becoming a resident at Adith Miller Manor. As I’m sure you see every day, having a family member with dementia is a confusing, scary and sad experience—both for the family and the individual who is experiencing dementia. I really feel that you have all done everything possible to help us as we evolve into the next phase of my mom’s life. You took time for phone calls with us, you set expectations about the admit process and adjustment period and you have obviously made my mom feel safe and secure in her new home. We are so grateful to ALL of you for this, and I can’t wait to meet everyone I haven’t yet met. — A grateful daughter
