Beginning Monday, June 29: Psychiatric and Counseling Services will be on second floor of Winona Clinic

Winona Health Psychiatric and Counseling Services is moving from the second floor of the Parkview Office Building at 825 Mankato Avenue to the second floor of the Winona Clinic, 855 Mankato Avenue in Winona. They’ll be open in their new location beginning Monday, June 29. Appointment hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. “The integration of the psychiatry and counseling clinic into the larger primary care clinic will be a positive move for both patients and providers. The proximity to other clinic services will simplify and improve access for patients,” said board-certified psychiatrist Jessica McIlrath, DO, (pronounced MAC il rath). “It will allow members of a patient’s treatment team to coordinate more effectively to provide the best care possible.” Robin Hoeg, RN, MSHA, Chief Operating Officer of Hospital and Primary Care Services, noted that many people who have appointments with their primary care provider also have questions and concerns about stress and anxiety. “Having our psychiatry and counseling staff working closely with our primary care team means they can combine resources and provide more holistic care.” “It’s a privilege to meet people in all stages of life, to hear their life stories and help them overcome whatever challenges they may be facing,” said Dr. McIlrath, who has been caring for patients at Winona Health since June 2018.
