Important information about flu vaccinations for children
November 24, 2020
Many parents have questions about the flu vaccination dosage for their children. We hope this is helpful: The CDC recommends everyone 6 months of age and older get vaccinated every flu season. Children 6 months through 8 years of age may need two doses during a single flu season if this is the first or second season for them getting the vaccine. Everyone else needs only one dose each flu season. Your health care provider is happy to answer questions if you are unsure of what your needs may be.
