Closure of Frontenac at Hwy 43/Mankato extended through Monday morning, September 26
September 21, 2022
When coming to Winona Health, remember that the entrance from Hwy 61 next to the YMCA will always be open. UPDATE: The one-day closure on Thursday, Sept. 22 at Frontenac Drive and Highway 43/Mankato Avenue has been extended through Monday morning, September 26 as additional work is needed. Construction crews will be constructing the watermain, so vehicles will not be able to access Highway 43/Mankato from Frontenac Drive and northbound motorists on Highway 43/Mankato won’t be able to access Frontenac. The entrances to Walgreens and Mugby Junction will remain open and are accessible on Frontenac. If you are on Frontenac Drive and approaching Highway 43, please take Menard Road to the south and enter Hwy 43/Mankato at Riverbend Road. Crews expect to reopen the intersection by the end of the day on Thursday. Stay connected, informed
