Congratulations to Cindy Byerly, Surgery/Recovery, for being honored as a Winona Health HERO!

“I was scheduled for an outpatient surgical procedure and in pre-op, I was greeted by a very caring, compassionate nurse, Cindy, who assisted me with my clothing, made certain I was comfortable with blankets, had my call light at the ready, and the I.V. went smoothly. She was able to answer most of my questions and let me now my attending physician would be able to answer the others. Then, in post-op, she made certain I fully understood my discharge at-home instructions by using the “Hands on Technique” and eventually escorted me to my waiting ride home. Thank you Cindy Byerly for taking such good care of me as it was a privilege to have you at my bedside. Also thanks to the entire surgical staff for making my experience memorable. I will highly recommend Winona Health to my family and friends.”
