Congratulations to Logan Dick, Lake Winona Manor, for being honored as a Winona Health HERO!

July 7, 2023

“Logan was one of my mom’s Nurses at the Manor. She had lived there for 3 years or so. This last March her health was in decline, and she was put under hospice care. Whenever Logan came into her room, her mood would improve and she would calm down. Throughout her time there, he was always kind and considerate to her needs. She always talked about him with a big smile. The last couple of days of her life, she was comatose; but she responded when Logan would come in, so we knew she was aware of her surroundings. The night she passed, he stayed by her bedside and held her hand reassuring her it was okay to let go (this was after his shift was over). We are all very impressed by how he treated Mom and how much compassion he has for the residents. Winona Health is lucky to have him, and his coworkers have a wonderful example to live up to. The residents are the true winners. We will always be thankful for how much he did for Mom. Thank you, Logan.”
