“I wanted to deliver a lift chair for my sweetheart who lives at Roger Metz Manor and they are heavy! So, when I was going to transport it, I called Winona Health ahead of time to ask if they might have a wheeled platform that I could use to move this chair into the house. I was directed to facilities where I left a message, and Justin got back to me within an hour. He understood what I needed and said he could help and we made a plan. Not only did he show up with the wheeled platform but two other facilities guys came along and they took over the moving of this heavy chair into the house and into my sweetheart’s room and got it all set up for him. There was a bit of a festive air about the whole thing and I was so grateful for their help even though I hadn’t expected their “muscle,” only the wheeled platform. They were so helpful and kind and this going the extra mile is exactly what makes Winona Health so special.
