She now lives in Dodge Center, Minnesota, but Karen Janikowski grew up in Winona and returns for Holiday Happiness every year. This year, a 1994 photo of the volunteers on our history mural caught her eye. Taking a closer look, she was excited to spot two of her aunts! She fondly remembers aunts Alice and Bernadine, noting they volunteered at Winona Health “forever!” The photo sparked more happy memories of them and of attending Winona Health events through the years. Events like Holiday Happiness and Fantasy of Trees are a way to connect with others in our community and spread joy during the holiday season.
