A few of Dr. Fenske’s former colleagues surprised him on Monday, July 8, his 95th birthday! They reminisced about his years here as an Internal Medicine physician, some of the adventures he’s had so far — and caught up on upcoming plans for time with family.
If you know Dr. Fenske — you might not be surprised that what seemed even more important to him than celebrating his birthday was looking forward to celebrating his and Alanna’s 70th anniversary!
Dr. Fenske retired in 2014 after 60 years of caring for our community. His dedication to his patients is legendary. He still keeps an eye on medical news and information and regularly gets together with his Winona Health colleagues to stay in touch and share his wisdom.
Dr. Fenske continues to inspire us all!
