Winona Community HUB will be able to help more community members thanks to a grant from the St. Paul & Minnesota Foundation in partnership with Taylor Family Farms Foundation.
Winona Community HUB assists people in our community experiencing food insecurity, housing insecurity, mental health challenges or frequent emergency department visits.
Support from the new grant makes it possible for the HUB to add a Community Health Worker to focus on helping its senior participants.
“We ask participants what their priorities are, and we make sure that we’re working on the things that are most important to them,” said Vanessa Southworth, Winona Community HUB director.
