Healthcare Directive Information Session

Tuesday, October 21, 2 to 3 p.m. Winona Health, 855 Mankato Avenue, B.A. Miller Auditorium, hospital 3rd floor

Everyone 18 years and older should complete a healthcare directive. The purpose of a Healthcare Directive is to allow people to stay in control of their care, even when they are unable to communicate. Creating a healthcare directive does not require assistance from a lawyer, but when properly completed, it is a legal document to help ensure your wishes are carried out.

Winona Health Volunteers invite community members to a free Healthcare Directive informational program. Authorized forms for Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa will be available. Facilitators will answer questions and help make the process easy. The Healthcare Directive program is free and open to all, but RSVP is required by calling 507.457.4342.
