Denver Brown, PA-C

Joined Winona Health in 2016

I became a Physician Assistant because I love interacting with patients and getting to know whole families over time. It’s satisfying to get to know people and see their health improve as we work together. My focus is on making sure I understand each patient and taking the time to see the whole picture. I hope to help people become healthier by making positive changes to their lifestyle like quitting smoking, eating better and staying active. I also enjoy providing care such as joint injections, basic skin procedures, bedside ultrasound and nerve blocks. I have training in Botox for migraine headache prevention and it has been rewarding to see patients get control of their headaches. In addition to Family Medicine, I spend one day per week working in our Emergency Department, which I thoroughly enjoy. I went to the University of Iowa for PA school and enjoy teaching PA students. I was an undergraduate student here at Winona State University and love the beauty of the Driftless region. In my free time I enjoy biking, cross-country skiing, hunting and fishing and spending time with my family.
