As a primary care provider in Internal Medicine, I really enjoy getting to know my patients and seeing them regularly. I also enjoy celebrating their accomplishments as they work to improve their health. Another aspect I love about primary care is the variety of issues and conditions I can help people with. And not only chronic conditions but also with acute issues that need more urgent assessment and management. I feel that patients get the best healthcare and outcomes when they have consistency and can build a relationship with one provider. I also love that I can count on my colleagues to provide high-quality care if I am unavailable or if I want a fresh set of eyes or a second opinion on a patient’s healthcare needs. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my three young children and traveling.
