Bethany Corliss da Rocha, MD, joined the Winona Health medical staff and will provide care for patients of all ages in the Emergency Department. “I chose Winona Health because I was friends with Dr. Gallagher and Dr. Koo (Winona Health Emergency Medicine Physicians) during residency training. After they joined Winona Health, they liked it so much they asked me to come,” said Dr. da Rocha. “When I visited Winona last year, I fell in love with the town and the hospital.” Dr. da Rocha received her medical degree at The Ohio State University School of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. She completed her residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Penn. She received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass. Dr. Corliss da Rocha is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She and her husband have a two-year-old son. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her family and dogs, skiing, knitting/crocheting, and watching baseball and football.
