When patients come to see me, my first priority is listening to their story—really listening, without interrupting—and gathering the information I need to understand what’s happening. Then we review my assessment together and discuss the next steps. I want every patient to feel heard, have their questions answered, and leave confident in the plan. My approach is straightforward: listen carefully, explain clearly, and make sure patients feel informed and aligned on the path forward before they leave.
