My experience treating skin issues as an urgent care provider sparked an interest in dermatology as a specialty. I want my patients to know that we are in this together, and we’ll work together to resolve their skin issues and achieve their goals — I hope to help each person feel their best in the skin they’re in. My scope of practice includes mole and growth biopsy and removal, skin cancer screening (including biopsy and removal), biologic medication management for complicated and autoimmune skin diseases. Assessment and treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, cysts, birthmarks, growths, warts, alopecia, shingles, chicken pox, insect bites, cellulitis, and sexually transmitted infections. As well as dermatitis, keloids, lipomas, nevi, melasma, skin allergies, skin tags, vitiligo, rosacea, skin infections. I’m dedicated to finding effective treatments, answering questions, and consulting with and referring to a dermatologist as necessary. Outside of the clinic, my husband and I and our two children enjoy being out on the water during the summer boating, fishing, and other watersports, but I prefer to be curled up with a cozy blanket and a good book in the winter.
