After shadowing a podiatrist and observing how a foot doctor can help people have a better quality of life by treating the many maladies of the lower extremity, I knew that’s the area in which I wanted specialize. My goal is to get people out of pain and back to their normal routine and activities as soon as possible. I treat problems as conservatively and as least invasively as I can. In cases that more conservative care is not feasible or effective, I will discuss surgical options with my patient. I feel that I can help people with most any foot problem, but if I see something that is beyond my scope of practice or expertise, I have many very highly qualified colleagues not only in the Podiatry Department, but throughout Winona Health that I can refer them to, making sure they get the best quality of care for their specific problem. I enjoy hiking, fishing (especially through the ice), traveling, backpacking/camping and sports of all kinds, and I am a proud, partial owner of the Green Bay Packers Football Club. My wife and I have three kids and a dog named Hank.
