Meeting children's rehabilitation needs

Winona Health Rehabilitation Services, is expanding its pediatric therapy services.
The additional equipment will allow staff to incorporate more sensory integration therapy into its children's services. Sensory integration therapy helps children who are affected emotionally and/or physically by environmental sensitivities-touch, movement, sights or sounds-that affect their learning, motor development or behavior. It helps children focus on their activities despite the presence of stimulation and helps parents and teachers modify childrens' environment to help them cope.
