Kara Reller, PA-C, is now seeing women in the Women’s Health clinic at Winona Health.
“Women go through so many changes at various stages of life, and I’m excited to walk with my patients through all of the questions that come with being a woman. I am excited about the opportunity to establish relationships and really get to know my patients,” said Reller. “I’m also looking forward to working with the Women’s Health team—we have a really positive group who work well together and love taking care of women in our community.”
Many community members already may have met Reller. She joined the Winona Health staff in 2015 and was caring for Urgent Care patients until her move to Women’s Health.
“One of my favorite things about Winona Health is that there is a sense of teamwork among the providers and staff,” noted Reller. “When I’m consulting with other providers, I know them, and I know that they’re someone I’m comfortable taking my family to for care—I think that’s pretty special.”
Reller is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. She earned her Master of Medical Science from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Ill., and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She also has a Master of Education degree from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind.
In her free time, Reller said she enjoys time with the family, going on walks and doing art projects. Reller and her husband have two young sons ages 3 and 7 months. They are animal lovers, and share their home with turtles, fish, a cat and an English cocker spaniel puppy.
