Celebrating our first CMA Program graduates

Join us in congratulating Amber Martin, Family Medicine, and Payton Peck, Pediatrics, the very first caregivers to graduate from Winona Health’s new Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Program!

Certified Medical Assistants play a vital role across Winona Health, supporting patients and providers in departments like Dermatology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and more. Because CMA programs aren’t widely available locally, Winona Health partnered with an online education provider to offer caregivers access to this valuable training with paid learning time and real clinical experience.

We believe in investing in our caregivers and helping them grow into the roles they want. This program allows caregivers to gain new skills, build their careers and continue serving our community without having to sacrifice wages or work-life balance.
