Mike Donnenwerth, doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM) joined the Winona Health medical staff and sees patients in Podiatry Services at Winona Health. He has special expertise in rear foot and ankle pain and injuries.
Dr. Donnenwerth said he chose Winona Health because he loves this part of the country. “My wife and I are from the Midwest. We love this area, and the people here are like the people we grew up with,” said Dr. Donnenwerth. “We often hear, ‘you’ll love it here’ and it’s obvious people are proud of what this area has to offer. Everyone has been very welcoming.”
Dr. Donnenwerth earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree at Des Moines University – College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Iowa. He completed his residency at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Donnenwerth and his wife are looking forward to making Winona their home. They have two young children.
Dr. Donnenwerth joins William Hanson, DPM, and Thomas Nachtigal, DPM, in the Winona Health Podiatry Services department.
